FICOM announced in March of 2010, a new requirement for re-licensing education for mortgage brokers.

MBABC strongly supports this initiative as it will ensure that our mortgage brokers stay current with industry regulations and best practices. The Registrar’s Bulletin Number MB 10-002 specifies that all registered individual mortgage brokers and submortgage brokers confirm that re-licensing course requirements are satisfied prior to the renewal of their registration. Continuing education for all mortgage brokers is imperative to promote ongoing professionalism, and instill consumer confidence in our industry.
